1939/40 reverse

    Hello ... can someone explain how & why this is just now being attributed? What does it mean? Any links?

    The designation has been around as long as I can remember - it's nothing new. In a nutshell the reverse of the coin was struck with dies that were not intended to be used until 1940 when slight changes were made.

    whats a business strike and how do you know when it is one?

    Business strikes are coins stuck for regular circulation.
