    Not really...you can see the copper on the edges of the picture of the reverse.

    It looks like a cent used for an old school science project. The back is most likely coated with mercury, so be sure to wash your hands after touching it. It’s strange they only coated the back though; they would usually coat both sides with the mercury.

    I doubt it's Mercury but for sure appears as a chem class project. Probably electroplated with something.
