I think it;s a double die class 6. When a coin is classified as six there is usually no separation on the letters ,but yours does have it on the 7 of the date ,and it looks repunched. The class six double die destended hub doubling is not a popular one ,because of no seperation on the letters only thickness. I may see signs of die deteriioration doubling ,sometimes they look simular in nature. I have to examine the coin a little more and let you know for sure.I believe it is a double die classified as six with a repunched 7 I examined it further now that;s my opinion Jazzcoins J:whistlee

It is not the 'biggie' it doesn't match the one listed in Wexler/Flynn's guide of "the Best of the Washington Quarter Doubled Die varieties."
