Hi everyone. I was hoping that someone could help me. I'd like to know as a general rule of thumb, what percentage in any grade level for the coin in question, affects the value of the coin if it has been cleaned? I mean, it's still collectable and has some value right? Thanks. Tony

A fairly mild cleaning that is not too harsh, a "bright" coin , might bring the value down about a grade. Double that for a harsh, hairlined cleaning, in general. The impact will likely be less for a highly sought-after coin like the 3-leg. Try searching the Heritage archives and comparing prices realized.

If it's yours now, you don't plan on selling it, need to complete a set, the cleaning is hardly noticable, Don't let it bother you for the value. If it's really cleaned, just leave it on a window sill for a few months and it should tone down a little.
