Hi everyone. I found this 1937 Canadian $1 bill for sale, and i would love to add it to my collection. I am suspecting the auction may end at about $25 to $30. Do you think that is a good buy price in the condition it is in?
Notes in similar condition are only going for $10.00-15.00 on Ebay. It is not a scarce note and you should be able to look around for a better price in this grade or a better grade for the price.
Thanks lettow. i was kinda thinking that, just wanted to get some more input. I have a huge collection of world banknotes, and i am just starting to get more into older notes from before 1950 and am still learning about the older ones. i need to get the other standard cataog of world currency for before 1961, i already have the other one.
Nice to see another collector of notes across the world! Personally I'd look for a little better copy of the Canada note. That hard crease down the center of that one is pretty dramatic. So are you making a "one of each country" collection, or collecting a "whatever I like", or any other theme to this huge collection? Dave
I started collecting one from every country and territory, and i have all of them except 6 more notes i am looking for, and now i am starting to collect older notes.
