1937 Buffalo Question

    On the obverse, on his head there is something going on. I assume it is just from the amount of metal needed for that location on the reverse for the buffalo.

    I see nothing "going on" other than a touch of a weak strike -- very typical for this issue.

    I agree - it looks like a typical Buffalo Nickel to me.

    What do you see that is "going on"?

    I'm not really sure how to describe it... it looks kind of like the O in ONE on this coin:

    You know I really don't see anything going on in the Head:rolling:All I see is a really nice buffalo

    Well that's good that it apparently is just normal.

    1943 cents are notoriously missing part of the O in the reverse. I can't recall seeing many, if any, fully struck. Even in really high grades.
