1936 Double date buffalo nickel - no mint mark

    Can anyone let me know where I can find info on a 1936 double date no mint mark buffalo. I've searched cherrypickers, the red book, & online & have been able to find nothing.

    I've also attached a copy of the coin as well, where you can see the doubling.

    Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Sure looks like it. Is it possible to get pics of the whole coin from a more direct angle?

    No mintmark = Philadelphia mint

    there is a 1936 doubled die obverse which will show doubling in the date but we need full puctures of the coin in order to tell you if it is indeed a doubled die

    To the OP - please post a photo of the date taken straight on rather than at an angle.

    This is the best I could get, I've just recently noticed some doubling under the L in liberty , as well as at the bottom of the large feather. I'm just very surprised I am not able to find anything on line or in any books regarding this variety.
