Hello again everyone! I came across this 1936 while searching a bag of wheat cents. It is quite worn and was probably struck very late in the dies life as there is an extra die chip on the R in Liberty. There is also evidence of a die crack on the west wheat stock but most of it is worn off. I'm pretty sure this is an DDO-003 but I wanted to get confirmation. Any Thoughts?
Yes, GOD looks good. Compare with this http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1936&die_id=1936p1do003&die_state=mds Jim
Sweet! Thanks guys. I just got a USB microscope a few weeks ago. It puts alot less strain on the eyes. I never would have found it without one. Thanks again
Nice. This is one variation that I have never searched for. I just looked through about 2 dozen 1936 P cents in my accumulation and no such luck for me. Great find. Keep posting and welcome to CT.
Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks for all your help. I have learned a lot from reading this forum. It's good to have some experienced coin collectors to consult with.
