So there was some difficulty seeing the details of my last post on the DDO-003 for this year. Well I'm sure this one will make up for that. This is what I think is the best of the 5 of this variety I've found. I do have one with sharper details on the date, but it has a case of the schmutz that an olive oil bath couldn't help.
That's awesome. The doubling is quite noticeable. I had to look up that -003, just to know that to look for. Some DDO's are quite subtle and micro in their movement.
As the case with many coins as I'm sure you're aware, the 003 looks more dramatic to the naked eye than in the pics. I wasn't going to spend half the day trying to get the lighting just right. I knew the seasoned vets here would be able to see it though.
