Here is some better pic of my Buffalo Nickel. Some said VF20 what do you all think? What kind of value do these coins have in this shape? There not made of silver right? I read a post that said that the only nickels made of silver were from 1942 - 1945, War Nickel, is that so?????
No. Nickels are made of - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - nickel. (25% nickel and 75% copper) That is true. War Nickels used an alloy that was 35% silver. All this information can be found in your Red Book.
