    Take a look at the 5. It looks like there is another CM140125-210418.jpg CM140125-210135.jpg one next to it. Tell me what you think

    What you are seeing is die deterioration. Same thing as the 1955 "Poor man's double die" even though it's not really a doubled die at all.

    No.. Could be a Die Chip that filled in the Mintmark. Have you tried creating your own unique thread under the Error Coins forum? Your question is not related to this original thread.
