1935 p buffalo nickel with missing back?

    Hello I just posted this also in the error coins section and im trying to see if this coin is valuable or not. The back is missing and probably done by a machine, but my parents has kept this nickel since early 90s. I'm just confused because if a person did it intentionally what machine would make a perfect circle on the back of a nickel? I compared the thickness to a regular buffalo nickel. Thank you for your help.
