    That's a bit difficult.
Weak strike or signs of wear obverse, especially the skirt line is weak.

    I guess MS63....

I'd go with AU55. Although, all 1935-D were light strikes. Or so I've read

I would say they gave it an AU58.

I think this is a weak strike, guys. I'm going to go out on the limb with rlm's cents and say it got MS64.

Without a doubt its a weak strike. The fields are pretty clean though so I could see it going a 64. But ive had bad luck with ever having really weakly struck coins reach 64.

I know. And that's a good practical point you make, which one only gets from experience.

It would surprise me MS 64 either ! As is a fields are very clear it's just highest point that make me think AU 55. I have never been an Expert.
I'm surprised when I send one sealed as mint sent what grade is on return.

I have a 42-s, that is almost identical in strike to this one. I will say ms 64 also.

I will say 61 on a weak strike.

I don't see many contact marks and the luster looks like it's probably pretty nice in hand. I'll say MS66

Just as a general observation ive made, I dont think ive ever seen a coin with a very weak strike make it to Gem or past. But thats just my observation and im sure there are exceptions. Im not trying to be insulting on your guess, just informative.
