Well, I went to the post office today and got some change back. I always put in my coin purse and check it. They were very busy but when there is an excellent clerk, anywhere you go it is pleasant. Found this 1935 D Lincoln wheat cent. A fun find… Little worn but for the age and to think from the post office, not too bad!
Purty nice find…miraculous, even, out of circulation nowadays. Lots of wear but G4-VG8…. 12-17 cents at NM/FMV…I go VG8 since rims are intact but others will go G4 because of the damaged 5 of the date. All-in-all very good find and your photography has become top notch. …imo…Spark
Aww thank you very much. Yes a fun find. I was very surprised. I don’t have one so, yes a fun find. Ty!
I’ll take the credit considering you were at the post office on my behalf..…… Catching a wheat in the wild is cool. Finding a wheat in the wild dates before 1950 is double cool!
I love seeing a coin that has done its job over the years, and this one is certainly a good example of it.
Great find Pam! It’s in decent shape for an 88 year old coin. And it’s a Denver issue as well. You’ve turned into a good Lincoln Cent collector.
You think so? I thank you! I filled that spot! I’m no where near the level many of you all are. Do not know why I like the Lincoln Cents. It is interesting seeing what many collect. Way way over my head but nice! lol!
You want me to get into trouble? lol! I have not bought one coin! Now some I got while spending but it was not on coins lol! No not shoes! lol!
lol!!! That’s right girl! lol! I’m past that stage.. feet hurt… lol! But a lamp or table… hmm yes! lol!
