It looks cleaned and appears to be in the XF-40 range (discounting the cleaning of course). I'd say $125-$170 might be what it sells for. Take Care Bone
It looks like that coin may have been lightly cleaned. It has minor scratches on the surface that seem to suggest that, plus it seems like it may have the fake luster that is associatd with clean coins. It still looks like it has good detail, so I'd call it Net AU-55. It lists for $590 in AU on PCGS, but personally I wouldn't pay more than 500.
I'd say cleaned, and probably within the last few years as it has had no real time to retone, still having that flat look. I would go with xf-45 on the grade and probably wouldn't bid much past $200 or so for it.
On second thought On second thought i'm not that great of a grader, and these guys are better than me, so disregard my previous post. In XF it should go in the 170-230 range.
Dont sell yourself short rocket! I've seen some VERY informative posts by you. Ok now let me get my nose out of rocketmans butt...(just kidding), I can't rmember what the bid was but I wasn't gonna fo over 175-200 range. I, too, thought it had been cleaned but wanst sure what it did to the value. I know if I took it to a dealer he'd say, Oh, thats been cleaned, I'll give you 30 for it". But you know how that goes! THanks guys! You're a REAL help!
