    I would expect it to be in the 10 to 25 cent range in that condition.

    No. Less. It's worn and damaged.

    Im seeing all kinds that are worn like this one going for 100's sometimes 1000's

    1934 is a common date. I don't know what you are seeing, but this one is in the
    .03-.05- .10MAX range.

    I was probably a bit high, there is no way common 1934 cents in circulated condition are going for over $100! Absolutely top price full retail in a coin shop might be 25 cents.

    There's a very large gouge on the center of the obverse.

    Those are dated 1909 and have an S mint mark

    And I've seen where certain cars have sold for hundreds of thousands or even millions. Does this mean the rotten Ford down the street is actually worth at least six figures?

    I'm not trying to be a smart ass here, but am hoping to make a point that'll stick with you.
