    I didn't know they minted an undated version. Is it newer? Grease filled Die? Now I've got to be on the lookout for one of those. Lol :)

    I think the dated version is the second issue, as they seem to be struck with the same dies, or at least the same hub. Note the short stem of the "Y" in lucky, But I do not have any proof of this. I also had not considered a debris filled die due to the fact that the field on my undated one show die wear striations and is evenly smooth in appearance, But yet I can not rule that possibility out. Your question had me take a much closer look.

    My undated one has a reverse rotation of +90°, While the dated one is rotated ~15°.
