Good morning all i am having trouble finding more information on one of my collections that I had forgotten about. I can find rough values on the bronze version of these in single form but have not seen any other collection that has all the dates like mine and in silver ( each coin is one Troy ounce 999 ) They are individually boxed just as they were purchased Many years ago. I have attached a picture to show an example of the first year I have to help identify these. I have 55 coins in total, many thanks in advance for any help or guidance on these Migratory birds silver rounds by Darren Edwards posted Jan 11, 2022 at 10:49 AM
what's on the backside of it, how about the edge? Should be marked with "wildlife mint Inc" on the backside and designers name, and the edge should have it's fineness which should be .999 maybe even a serial #. probably weighs 1 oz, but you'd have to check to be sure. they did them in Bronze and gold plated also. worth melt at the bare minimum, some may or may not be worth more to a collector, depending on if some where rarer or missed than others, i have no idea on that. if 1 troy oz,.Base price of $22-$23 I'd think for melt as a valuation of each one as a starting point. pretty sure from what I can find, entities with this name did dissolution in 1992-1995 and such. I don't think the business exists anymore, so might be pretty hard to find info on any of the products.
Thank you for the reply the edge states 330 then 999 F.S on the blank part then the rest of the edge has reeding. they were minted by the wildlife mint and I’m sure they no longer exist. I was considering consolidating them but unsure as to weather I would at melt prices but I can understand why these may only be worth that if they are not widely collected or popular. fonding information on these has been pretty rough so I really appreciate the feedback.
