1934 rotated die

    I have an american 1934 penny, and the die seems to be rotated. Would this command a premium

    Zabb,

    When you say "rotated die", would that be on the obverse or reverse? Are all the number's and letter's doubled? A picture would best serve your question or a better explanation.

    Sorry I simply meant that they do not line up? When you flip the coin over the other slide doesnt line up, it is slightly off. THere is no doubling.

    Rhubarb, your thinking of a double strike, hes talking about a rotated die.

    Cody, I responded without a picture. Zabb, Does it look like this? If your coin line's up with the picture it's not rotated. A picture of the Obverse and Reverse would be a good indicator of knowing if it's rotated.

    Bahaha, no its not like that. I will try, but its in a holder thing, and im not sure how my scanner will handle the plastic.

    When the other side is pointing down this is how off it is. :)

    My scanner messes up when it is in a case, but the grade isnt what I care about.
