1934 penny

    penny.JPG have a 1934 penny the 1 and 4 are much smaller than 93

    Your cent is just a standard cent.

    Yep... that's the way the date looks on all 1934 Lincoln cents.

    Welcome to the forum Lou! You will find that through the Lincoln Wheat cent series, there are several different fonts used as slight redesigns occurred. And some dates can look a little off if the die fills in with hard packed grease, such as making the "1" shorter. This is not to say that oddities do occur. Several years, the "S" mint mark may be large or small as 2 different sized punches were used, and also some years are known to have an inverted "S" mint mark, so keep looking!
