Hey everybody - i've got the coin fever and I think I may have gotten an OK deal this time... what do you think? (as far as grade?)
(sorry not the greatest of pictures)
PCGS says its value is $24 in VF condition... I picked this one up for 17
I wanted to get something besides the few 1922/23's I already have!

The coin looks like a solid VF-35! Coin Values gives a value of $28 for VF-20 and on the actual Coin Market, most Coin Dealers would probably have it priced beween $20 and $25. IMHO, you got the coin at a really nice deal! Nice pickup!

Also, from the cloudiness on the Reverse mylar of the 2x2, it appears that something has contaminated it. You might want to get the coin out of the old 2x2 and into a new one as soon as possible.

Awsome!! thank you so much for your opinions! I'm glad there are still some deals to be had out there. I was wondering about the cloudyness, I will switch containers asap! Thanks again!

Did the seller tell you why the reverse looks like it's been damaged?

What both Franks said, and I am concerned about the reverse

I believe that the cloudiness is just from the plastic.
    However, better to ask.

IMHO the Peace dollar is an underrated coin. I personally think that they are beautiful. I also think you made a good purchase.

The Peace Dollar has always been one of my favorites since it was one of the first circulated coins I purchased. I think you did well.

    I have to agree.
The Peace Dollar is extremely underappreciated.
I try to buy about 5-6, every 3 months or so.
They are really reasonable right now, too.

unfortunately the cloudiness is from an area that seems to have been rubbed by a thumb four million times? not sure how else you could get such a deep wearing in one area of a coin only?

was kind of dissapointing but I have another 1934 on the way that I got a good deal on fortunately!

It's still a good amount of silver though eh, thats the upside to Peace dollars, they are worth their weight.

VF+/VF??, nice toning, reverse damage, not really acceptable.
