Yesterday my dad bought a 1934 liberty peace dollar at the gas station for a dollar I thought that was a great deal but I was wondering how much I could getfor it at a coin shop. Thanks.
Posting a pic would enable others to make a more accurate estimate of value. It depends on the grade and the mintmark. The S mint mark is the higher value one. U can buy one at a shop starting around $40 according to coinage magazine. The other 2 mm U can buy starting at $20. Probly would get $10 to $12 and up for one at a shop based on current bullion value unless its in better conditions. Pretty sweet to be able to buy 1 for face. Where is that gas station again?
