District numbers and serial numbers can be a determinate factor. Some districts are scarcer than others, ie Minneapolis vs. Chicago.

The Cleveland notes are a little bit better than the Boston notes rarity wise.

If they are heavily circulated though, I keep them but only as "emergency" cash.

i have a hard enough time spending pre 1990 $100s under normal circumstances, in an emergency i'd rather have something that i know would be accepted by anyone.

    Here's what I have:
    1934 Cleveland, light creases
1934 Cleveland, no creases but a small blue pen mark
1934 Boston, one light crease and a small pencil mark
1934A New York, blue ink smear, pencil mark, and one crease in the middle
1934A New York, small red pen mark, crease down middle
    also:
1934 $50 from Chicago, "575" written on front in pencil.

any value to any of these?
