Hmmm, if thats white bond paper then I'd say the coin has been cleaned. If the material/paper is yellow, then I'd say photoshop. Either way the two serious bidders know the real value of this coin ($1,800+ in real MS-64 condition) and have stopped bidding for now...

    Good Luck and Proceed Cautiously

I hope they keep it low for a while and then i can snipe it up (please forgive me) thats why i was asking for a max bid, cause then if the bids are around 600 at closing i can just put in like 700 or 800 a few seconds before.

Is the picture a picture of the coin you will receive, first question?

Second, why would they say the coin is Choice Gem BU then give it a MS64 grade? Kind of contradictory don't you think?

Outside of the hit on the eagle coin looks better then MS64. Photo doesn't shown much luster though, could be bad photo. Nice full strike on obverse, hair line very distinct.

That kind of money at stake I would want to see it in hand. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't bid. If you are looking for a nice BU 1932-S Quarter I would suggest buying one that has been slabbed. There are fakes for this date, but more than that....it seems that the largest part of this date/mint of coin has been cleaned. Check out Teletrade and Heritage and I'm sure you will find one for a good price. I've gotten a few AU ones for around $240

Does look nice but sounds a little risky too! If you had a coin that way key date in that good condition, wouldn't you have it graded? Makes me wonder if its legit or not... the seller does have a good reputation though... If you like it, go for it!

Ah, Bone, but the peace of mind that it is genuine, isn't that worth a few bucks and some plastic?

    yeah, I know: "Nope."

Chuckle, If, and I mean (IF) I were to send a coin for TPG services I would have already made sure it was genuine. ;)

Not one you already have Bone---one you are buying...
If you were looking at this 1932-S Quarter one Ebay---would you want it raw or slabbed?

Au naturale of course. If when the coin arrived and it was determined to be counterfeit, then the appropriate actions would be taken. If the coin was as advertised then I'd put her into a "CoinWorld" snap plastic holder and write down who I'd purchased it from, the date and the price paid.

    Ben:
I have to give you immense credit.
I have seen many coins that I have questioned the validity of and they were genuine.
At the same time I can (and never will) be able to determine the genuineness (if that is a word) of EVERY piece that I have ever owned.
I am just not that good.

Kudos to those who can be that secure.
(No offense, I am just stating my own shortcomings.)
