I see these on eBay all the time and I’m wondering if they are worth alot why is everyone selling. Do they know something like the price will go down soon or something along thoughts lines?
1932 quarters are relatively common and don't command a special premium. However, 1932-d and 1932-S are two key dates for the series and are rarer and much more expensive.
All depends on a lot of things. For example if you mean the Standing Liberty 1932 Quarter it would be worth a real lot of money now and in the future. Even a 1931 SLQ or Washington Quarter would always be worth a small fortune. :goofer: The 1932 Washington Quarter was the first of the series. It is difficult to start a Washington Quarter collection without one so they would always have some value above what they should be. Price and demand you know. Even the 32 from Philly demands a decent amount and due to the low mintage the D and S are climbing way up there.
I see thanks guys I meant the Washington Quarter sorry I didn’t put it on the title. Also I have seen the D's and S's sell for much less then the price guide on PCGS even the coins graded by them. Is it just me or is the prices on that guide too high or they can’t sell them at full price now with the way the world is now.
The PCGS price guides are overvalued for most series. For a few series it's wildly overvalued (high-grade modern proofs) and for a few series it's slightly undervalued. I've seen an influx of these on the market lately. Perhaps someone uncovered a hoard. You can get 1932-D and 1932-S Washington quarters for close to greysheet bid with no problem.
