    Hello fellow coin peeps! :smile

Ran across this today, and wanted to know if this was authentic.
    Thanks! (P mint mark)

i am in doubt but am not an error nor quarter expert. i do not now if this will work but here are a couple of error lamination pics. sorry they are scanned from a book. i also am not by any means familiar w/ errors, but no one else has replied so i thought i would offer what little i could....others here will know much more....steve

I know this is a lamination error, I just want to confirm it, and want to know if it is real and not altered.

    Thanks

Follow Up: The lamination error makes the coin more valuable, right?

Ummm - you kind of contradicted yourself with that statement - I think. :) I am not sure what it is, but show some patience and an expert will be along soon to post an opinion.

could you post the reverse also? look for tooling marks to see if it has been held in a vise or by other mechanical means to crack the planchet. as i said, i am not by any means an error authority and know little about them. i would still be in doubt.
i have no idea as to what kind of premium (were this genuine) would bring.....steve
