I found one of these. Finally.

The 1932 Peru 10 Soles token, KM# Tn6. Silver base with a gold gilt layer.

This token is extremely rare. I'm not sure what the R value is but from my experience searching for this token, along with Numista's rarity index of 95/100, the R value must be pretty high. And, it doesn't help that the mintage is unknown.

The example that I acquired is very sharply defined.

However, there's clear evidence of some type of wear, possibly due to cleaning everywhere you see the gold gilt layer worn off, exposing the silver beneath. So I'm not too sure how this would grade - what do you all think?

    Here's what I think:

AU-58 due to the missing / wear of the gold gilt layer

    OR

MS DETAILS - Cleaned &/or Surface Hairlines

    Thanks in advance!

Interesting piece. Never seen that one before.

I'm of an upper-AU opinion, myself.
