Thinking of bidding on this but the prices Im seeing are very wide depending on what web site you look at. 1932ms67.jpg

Did you run the fingerprint through NCIC? If it is Al Capone's, the quarter might be worth a bundle.

Do you care more about what the coin is worth to someone else, or about what it's worth to you?

This in very large part depends on the buyer, and is particularly true with a coin such as this that will not appeal to every collector of the type. Perhaps start by comparing completed auction listings, both real and eBay, and try to come up with what you feel is a reasonable estimate.

I think for 8 grand I could find something really more appealing, Like a 1928 HAWAIIAN SESQUIN. HALF COMMENS.

If I had the 8 grand to spare, I'd go to Vegas and play the multi-line video slots. I know I'd come out ahead!

Toning on the OP coin is okay. If I wanted this coin in 67, I'd try to find another rather than bid on this one.

IDK Im not impressed with these CAC coins. This is the second ugly coin with a CAC sticker, but hey lets not start that up again.

Just like coins graded by PCGS, NGC or any of the other 3rd party graders, you need to judge the coin for yourself, not what someone else said about it. I do like what the 3rd Party graders have brought to the hobby, but I don't buy sight unseen.

Quite the small sampling, don't you think?

This is also beside the point since the purpose has nothing to do with being ugly.

Why did you start a thread entertaining the purchase of a $30k (price guide), top pop, coin if $8k is out of the question?...

Not that I want to get into this whole CAC thing again, but yes beside the two ugly quarters, that got a CAC sticker for some reason, I have seen quite a few crappy eye appeal coins from CAC, QA, and MAC. I still think the whole 3rd party grading is a scam, ok let the hate mail fly. lol.

well like I originally said depending on what web site you look at the price went from 5 to 41,000 so I was just curious what the general opinion was on a price. And 8k is out of the question because its ugly. And why do people always ask why did you start a thread? IDK because I wanted to.
