So I'm in my office and I hear " Honey Honey !!!! I found a wierd one !!" Pics are as found, any help would be greatly appreciated !!
It almost looks like a broadstruck. Not sure. You want to trade it for the fake error dime I picked up?
Whoa nice find and a good wife you have there. I couldnt get my girlfriend to look for shiny ones, and I offered to pay her to do it. You should take her out and wine and dine her. LOL
You know Jack I was sending a few coins out for Sheila's collection. Not sure now. Is she going to cherrypick me?
Yeah, but she's still the one who found it - not Jack. Ya see, Jack wants to be the one to find one himself
Jack, That is a nice find that your wife made! Kudos goes out to her and good luck to you in your quest for a Variety or Error Lincoln! I would venture to guess that the coin would bring $30 to $50 on most days! However, early Lincolns with errors are highly sought after and I could see it possibly fetching wel above $50 on a good day on eBay. Frank
http://minterrornews.com/priceguidebroadstrike.html Prices seem a little high, but I would guess close. More than $50 for sure.
No, I bought a bag Friday at the coinshow, and went back Saturday and bought the rest of the bags he had, all pre 40-s
