Quite possibly. Next time check eBay for completed auctions before you buy. And welcome to Coin Talk!

Please excuse the delay in responding. Having trouble with my isp. Anyway, to check for the price realized on eBay auctions, type 1929d U.S. quarter dollar into the search bar at the eBay web site. When the list of auctions appear look to the left side and there are several boxes, one of which is "sold." Check that box and press enter. The next screen should show all 1929d quarters that have sold and the price realized. Actually, you can search auctions searching for pcgs certified quarters, but my two index fingers are getting sore from typing. But you will figure it out, I am sure.

Forget that. My post repeated so I deleted one of them. This site does not let you delete a post without typing something in place of what you deleted. Go figure.

If we assume the coin meets accepted standards for MS64, CAD$300 was not too bad a deal for that coin.
