Hello I know very little about this note.
I only know it's not in very good condition due to lots of pin hole in the note.
I purchased this note and a circulated ASE for $30.00,so I don't really have a whole lot
    of money in it.
    Thanks

So what exactly was your question Luke?

If it's about value, you did great.

That would be nice to know the value, but how common is it also?

I have the book Standard Catalog of US Paper Money, but I'm new to paper notes and I'm still learning my way around the book.
    Thanks

1928A Blue Seal Funny Back Silver Certificate (Woods/Mellon). Over 2 billion distributed during the late 20's-early 30's.
Book values are VF - $30 , CH-CU - $75, and GEM - $125. You can check the Heritage Auction Archives, or the eBay completed listings for price averages. Yours appears to be original and would probably grade somewhere around VF20-25

If it has any holes like you mentioned, it will grade 'details', but always be a 'problem' note.

That said, I love the Funnybacks and put them away in any condition I run across them.
If you got an ounce of silver for 30 bux, and this came with it, you actually only paid 29 bux and got a little something for your currency album. ;)

    Thanks everyone for the information.
To bad it has lots of pin holes in it,but I still consider it a keeper,so into the safe it goes.
