1928 100$ bill series of A

i would like to know what the value of this old money is? it is a 1928 series A 100 $ bill. it has fold marks but no narks or tears. it is not a gold or green.

Unless it is a star note from NY or St. Louis it is not worth much over face. Without a picture it is hard to tell. Books list these at $150 in VF except for the two I mentioned.
