    Greetings coin lover!

I’m new here. Happened upon a stash of wheat pennies, mostly from the 20’s and this one from 1926 seemed to be in the best shape of all of them. Any guesses what the grade of this coin would be or it’s worth? Any thoughts from the community would be much appreciated.

Please excuse the low quality photo!

    Thanks!

It’s worth about $5 according to the NGC website. Not bad for a penny but it is definitely not worth being graded.

I say it’s VG-8 and value it a little higher. PCGS says it’s worth $12. I’d say you could get $6 to $8 in a 2X2 on EBay not much more and it’s gonna take awhile.

Agree with VG-8 which might make it $10.
But I can't tell if it is environmentally damaged. Which would make it $5 as it is a semi key.

Not worth sending off to be graded, but not a bad find for a bulk lot, either.

I think we both agree on this one I’m just optimistic because the suckers on Sleazbay tend to spend a little more. But if you sold it retail I agree with $5
