1926 D Peace Dollar

    I have alot of Morgan's but do not collect Peace dollars .
    I will get a 2021 so I figured I would bite on this one on auction.
    I overpaid some i think with buyers fees but I liked the light Golden Tone
    Anyways my first Peace Dollar .

    There's an interesting story behind the 1926 bold "GOD" Peace Dollar (like yours shows). It concerns the Scopes Trial and religious intolerance. Just sharing with you in case you like to read up on it.
