Went to A ANTIQUE shop in FLA today. Has anyone seen a 1926-D peace dollar reported with or graded with the reverse 10 - 15 degrees off center or rotated. The price is $40.00. I was just wondering. If true and valid might there be something here to jump on for $40.00? Shoot the melt is about $23 and change. Pass on it or buy it? You typical poor condition silver dollar, but it does seem to be rotated---need info and advice. thanks!!

Typically unless rotation is substantial, it carries no value. 10-15 degrees is not really uncommon.

That said, there are some particular VAMs in the Peace dollar series that may have that rotation and be worth a bit more than average. You'd have to have a VAM guy answer that for you.
