I'm waiting on my next round of coins so I decided to look at some of older coins. I was shocked to find this. I checked coppercoins and there's only one example. My coin so happens to show a nice line where the 9 is double. I do see other doubling on the date but I need a good microscope for them. I am certain this is the real deal.
I see Wexler also lists only one, which this is not. However, and with that said, assuming you believe this to be a different variety, I cannot help but to respectfully question your conclusion, even with the small less than ideal photo.
That's understandable. Thank you for your reply. I'm working on getting a microscope. So, until then, I'll leave this thread alone until I get better pics.
