1925-? Please help me identify the mint mark!

    The mint mark on my coin looks like a "C," but I know it can't be from Charlotte because they weren't making gold coins in 1925. So where was my coin made?

    And, if it's not too much trouble, what could it be worth?

    Umm... that would be Philly; the mintmark would be above the date.

    I agree with BooksB4Coins.

    That under the date is an S with a G over it or a G with an S over it. It is the initials of Agustus Saint Gaudens. He was the designer of the coin.
