The mint mark on my coin looks like a "C," but I know it can't be from Charlotte because they weren't making gold coins in 1925. So where was my coin made? And, if it's not too much trouble, what could it be worth? Thanks so much for your help!!
I agree with BooksB4Coins. That under the date is an S with a G over it or a G with an S over it. It is the initials of Agustus Saint Gaudens. He was the designer of the coin.
