I posted this in another forum yesterday. Sorry for the duplication.

It's a 1925-P Peace dollar. The reverse die has been overpolished. Three of the rays over the eagle's back are shorter than normal. Couldn't find a listing for a VAM. There is a VAM with one short ray under the eagle.

My coin has some lines around IN on the obverse. I think it might be a VAM-1B, but there's no mention of shortened rays.

Has anyone seen this before or know more about the VAM-1B?

    Thanks.

    Norm

Just found out... it's a VAM-14 "Shortened Reverse Rays". It's listed on the updates. I missed it. Doc said I needed bifocals over a year ago. Must be time.
