    Looks like something hit it, I'd say its PMD do you have a picture of the full coin.

    Looks like a possible doubling or tripling of the "E." I am sure that could be accomplished Post-Mint, but I am sure a more clear picture would help greatly in the determination.

    I also agree. I'd spend a nickel on it.

    I recently read a story on AOL. In this story it talked about a set of 1925 pennies that went into circulation that only had the front stamped. The back was hit but the image was gone. It was just punched in. That and the machine did not catch the error. Their was an article on this on AOL yesterday. I was wondering if anybody saw it; and much more unlikely have you seen one of these coins?
