I was looking through some wheat cents i bought and found a 1925 D cent with a weird D.
Now i'm not sure what to think because it looks like an S to the left of the D but there is also damage on the 9 that could have damaged the D making it look like an S. what do you think?

Hard to tell, after all those years out there. It might just be "Beat up?"

The portion you are thinking might be a "S" doesn't seem to have the same symmetry as that used in 1925. The left part of the upper loop isn't as acutely curved as you see here. I suspect it is damage and not an OMM. IMO.

It appears to be PMD. The dent in the 9 has an arc to it that continues on the upper corner of the D. That's my opinion. Which along with a buck and some change will buy you a cup of coffee. :)
