I was looking through my Great Grandmother's collection and came across this 1925 Canadian Nickel. From what I read it's pretty rare and can be worth some money. Any help and or comments would be much appreciated!

O my gosh. Great find. The only coin missing from my Canadian 5 cent collection. I wish I had it. I would get it graded by CCCS or ICCS (Canadian Grading Companies) or PCGS, NGC or ANACS (American Grading Companies). The pictures are blurry but I am thinking VF-20 which would put a price tag on it for about $140.

I get the impression from the photos (even though they aren't the best...) that there is some corrosion or debris along the rims...along with what looks like to me either significant wear or a past cleaning. If I was guessing because I wanted to buy it, I'd probably go VG8 or VG10. Of course, that could change depending on better photos. Check out coinsandcanada.com for some grading/pricing info.
