I have a 1925 buffalo head nickel that someone gave me.
It has a big dent in it, possibly from a small bullet such as a .22?
Well, anyway, on the reverse it appears to only have 3 legs. I have heard of such errors before, but when I refer to my Red Book, there is no listed 3 legged buffalo nickel from the year 1925.
Is it an error? If so, how much is it worth?
    Thanks,

It's also kinda bent in a way too! :(
    Thanks,

The coin has been damaged after it left the mint (referred to as PMD, post mint damage), so it is not an error. It is worth significantly less than a normal 1925 Buffalo Nickel

The damage on the obverse at the top of the Indian's head corresponds to the lack of detail in the area of the buffalo's forelegs on the reverse. I'm guessing that someone hit the obverse which caused the flattening of the reverse.

Because of the dent on the obverse, the reverse looks weak. Not an error, PMD.
