Nice find in a 50 lb wheat penny lot (actually so far seems unsearched) I just bought. Something to pass the winter time anyway, but curious on condition and value.

    Thanks

Very difficult issue to grade due to the striking problems - there are mint state specimens with little more detail than a VF specimen of other date/mm combinations.

    I'd say AU55, and around $80.

Yeah that's what confused me. I saw some online for like $900.00 and in seemingly worse shape than this

First off, he will not get $900 for that coin from any knowledgeable collector. It appears to be AU to me. Secondly, yours looks to be AU cleaned. It might be worth $20. The 24-S is the rarest Lincoln with any red on it. A truly unc coin with some nice original red goes for beau coup bucks.

I agree with rlm's cents response I would say about AU. Definitely a coin worth sharing in my opinion.

Looks to be AU but probably an old cleaning. These are VERY tough coins in the higher grades.
