1923 Wheat Cent Mint Error?

Hey, welcome to CoinTalk. Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this looks like a hit from a pointed object, see how it plowed up metal toward the top and right. I'm sure others will have feedback.

Well I guess it is a well traveled piece of copper –bound to take a few hits!
