Hey gang! This coin was part of an AU/UNC set I purchased this week. It's going to the plastic factory today and I wanted to see what you guys thought it would grade. Same coin different lighting.

The coin appears dipped out in the pics. I am going to say 62/63. I am assuming the hairlines I see are die polish.

It grades gorgeous in my books.

The TPGs would probably say 65.

I would say MS 65 is not out of the realm. It is a beautiful coin--doesn't look dipped and lacking in luster to me. Could definitely grade 65 (gem) standards.

I'm going out on a limb and saying '66. Keep us posted as to what it comes back as Matt.

I would put it around MS63/64, no Full Head.

The thigh and leg on the obverse, and the eagle's breast and high points of the eagle's wing on the reverse are dotted with bag marks and dings. For some reason, the surfaces (particularly the striations around Ms. Liberty on the obverse) look funny to my eye. But, they do look like die repair relics. In general, it seems to be struck from a pretty "tired" die.

I am a big fan of the clashed die (see the eagle's wing clash to the left of the "WE" on the obverse). Nice looking coin.

MS64, I have to say I have never seen that much die polish on an SLQ.

Wow! Tough date in great shape. I'm going with 63.

I think it's got some pretty nasty hits on the rev and quite a few small ones on the obv. I couldn't grade it higher than 63. Given the date/mint, they might be lenient.

Question for me is, what do you think it will grade Matt ?

Unfortuneately I had to hurry up and break it down because I had a PCGS order going out today. So about half of them went in to PCGS.
