I am wondering how much this beauty is worth. In hand it looks alot better, my pics are really bad and what's worse is I seem to have captured stuff you don't see in hand. Anyways, it has a die crack as you can see, which I understand is very common with these. I have two questions here and the first one is how much do you think it's worth? The next one is in your professional opinion do ASE's also have die cracks or will they in (80-100yrs)?? Anyone?

Lists for $30 to $40 in that grade. If you think it's undergraded, send it in for a regrade.
Major die cracks can add value, but usually not the minor ones, even though it's interesting.

Die cracks occur on the die used to press the coin. If a coin doesn't have one when struck, it will never develop one itself. It is possible any die can crack and not be noticed and used to strike coins, even with ASE. The number of years have nothing to do with die cracks forming, just the number of strikes/die accidents.

And historically, at least, it doesn't necessarily take a lot of strikes. There's at least one very famous low mintage rarity that has a die crack.

I appreciate the information on die cracks, interesting. I just bought another MS62 mostly b/c I can afford the grade.:D The new one I got is a 1922 and it has a die crack as well. It didn't state in the ad that there was a die crack but I'm keeping it anyways. :D So is it safe to say that the peace dollars have more die cracks than other silver dollars?

eBay if selling - that's your best bet on getting $30-$40; otherwise, that grade books wholesale in the $20 range - plus plastic if someones paying for ANACS slab.
As for die cracks, except for extreme examples, pretty much only add interest and personality to the coin that is valued most by the owner.

Nope, the Morgan has got it beat, die cracks everywhere :D. Especially the 1921 strikes, both the P,D, and S, but especially the D. So if you like die cracks (and breaks) 1921-D is your year.
