I suspect a cleaning, I'm thinking value between 25-30 dollars, and that's just because silver is in demand. Not so long ago I'd have been lower.
Before you throw it in the melting pot look at this link. Of all these 1923s listed here, they missed yours. Maybe they want to see a picture of it? Shoot them an email and see.
