1923 Peace dollar struck through?

I was out today and stopped at pawn shop and picked up a few peace dollar at melt plus a nominal fee and came across this and wanted your all thoughts if you think it is a struck through or PMD. I know most want full images of the coins but i'm still working with usb scope and its hard to get full images but with pics provided I hope someone can tell. Thanks and Happy Fathers day to you dads out there.

nice coin . With lamination wouldnt the details still be there on the design this coin looks like it affects the design itself. I'm still learning on all the types of errors so be patient

 

I think what you are asking about is the differents between an
"Retained Lamination" and a "Unretained Lamination".
With a "Retained Lam" the details can remain.
With an "Unretained Lam" the Lamination part fall away from the coin and can look like a "Struck Through" coin.
