I know this is a common coin, but it does have some value in higher grades. This is the best photo I could get. The apparent scratches under IN GOD WE are barely visible in hand. Any help with grade would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice coin! From just the photograph of the obverse, I'll grade it an MS64 right now, but with a proper picture of the reverse, It could gain or lose at least one grade. Raw, as is, right there in your hand it is probably a $50-$60 coin if you are able to find the right buyer. I recommend, if it does infact qualify for an MS65 grade, you get it certified by a well known third-party coin grading company like PCGS or NGC. Good luck!

PS: Grade is subject to change depending on a TPGs opinion on the scratches an how deep they may be, but it is most likely not enough for it to only qualify for a "Genuine" slab (if certified by PCGS).

I give it a solid 63 unless the reverse is totally hammered. It carries some value above spot. Right now it bet its worth $40-$45.
