    Help get me straight over here. 1923 or 1928? Below is as high of a resolution scan that I can make. When you zoom in it looks like the 8 is connected and it is not a 3. Wishful thinking perhaps??

    It's a 1923, notice how the ends of the 3 curve.

    It is authentic. The scan was at 1500 dpi so every detail shows up.
